I can't access my email
Work through these in order — the first one is by far the most common cause of a sudden “connection timed out”.
Work through these in order — the first one is by far the most common.
Webmail and mail apps both suddenly stopped — “connection timed out”
Most likely cause: your internet address was temporarily blocked because a mail app on one of your devices kept trying to sign in with an old password. Our servers automatically block an address after repeated failed logins to protect everyone, and that block affects all connections from your location — including webmail.
This happens most often right after a mailbox is migrated to MyPandos, when an old phone or laptop still has the previous password saved.
Fix:
- On every device, update the saved mail password to your current app password, or temporarily remove the account.
- Tell your administrator your connection is blocked — the block clears automatically within about 30 minutes once the failed attempts stop, and they can clear it immediately.
If you don't stop the device that's using the old password, the block will keep coming back within seconds.
“Password incorrect” in a mail app
Mail apps need an app password, not your normal MyPandos sign-in password. Create one in your webmail User settings and paste it in.
Can't get past the sign-in / MFA screen in webmail
- Make sure you're using your MyPandos single sign-on account.
- If you've lost your authenticator, use a recovery code, or ask your administrator to reset your MFA enrolment.
Webmail says the page can't be found
Confirm the address: https://webmail.<your-domain> (your administrator can confirm the exact one for your domain).
Still stuck?
Contact your MyPandos administrator with: the exact error text, whether it's webmail or a mail app, and your device type. If you can, note your current internet (IP) address — it helps us check for a block quickly.
