Yes. Free DNS is a standalone service — you do not need to buy hosting or register your domain with us to use it. Create an account, verify your email, add your domain, and point its nameservers at us.
Yes. That is the main way people use it. Add the domain in your dashboard, update its nameservers at your current registrar, and you manage its DNS with us while the registration stays where it is.
Yours. We create a dedicated Cloudflare account for you under our tenant rather than putting your records in a shared zone, and we can send you an invitation so you can sign in to the Cloudflare dashboard directly.
We notice. Your domain's DNS page resolves your nameservers live and compares them against both your registrar record and your Cloudflare zone, so a mismatch is shown rather than silently ignored.
Every domain has its own page with uptime and response-time monitoring, SSL expiry tracking, DNS analytics, WHOIS, nameserver history and a full activity log — not just a form for editing records.
