Setting your retail prices as a reseller
Set the price your customers pay for each product, type amounts with a point or a comma, know what a price of 0 or a removed price does, and what the Hidden from customers switch does today.
The Retail Pricing page in the Reseller area lists every product you can sell, one row per product and billing cycle, grouped by type. For each row you see the Wholesale price you pay myPandos (for reference, you cannot change it), Your Price (the price your customers pay, which you set), your Margin and a Visible switch. Amounts are shown in the currency of the product.
Set or change a price
- Sign in at dash.mypandos.io, open the Reseller area and choose Retail Pricing.
- Type your price in the Your Price cell of the row. The Margin column updates as you type: it is your price minus the wholesale price, green when positive and red when negative, and a dash while the price is empty.
- When you have changed at least one row, a Save Changes button appears at the top of the page. Choose it. Retail pricing saved. confirms the result. Only the rows you changed are sent.
Typing the amount
You can type 10.50 or 10,50: the page turns a decimal comma into a point as you type, so you see the value that will be saved. A thousands separator is accepted when the number is unambiguous, for example 2,500.00.
The page never guesses a number that could mean two things. 1,500 or 1.500 (one separator followed by exactly three digits) could be one thousand five hundred or one and a half, so the row shows a message with the two readings and Save Changes stays disabled until you retype the amount. The same applies to an amount that makes no sense, such as 1.2.3: use digits and at most one decimal separator.
An empty price, a price of 0, and removing a price
- Empty: your customers see the standard myPandos price for that product.
- 0: your customers are charged nothing. This is not the same as an empty price.
- Removing a price you had set (clearing the cell and saving): the price is removed and your customers see the standard price again.
Because a price of 0 and a removed price both change what your customers pay, the page asks you to confirm them. A Confirm these prices window lists each affected product, for example a price of 0 means your customers are charged nothing or your price is removed and your customers see the standard price. Choose Save these prices to go ahead, or cancel to save nothing.
The Visible switch
The eye icon in the Visible column switches a product between Visible to customers and Hidden from customers. Your choice is saved with your prices, but it is not applied yet: your customers can still see and order every product. The page says so in a note above the tables. Do not rely on this switch to withdraw a product from sale.
If you see no products
The message No sellable products yet means no products have been enabled for your account. Contact your account manager to enable products and wholesale pricing. A page that fails to load shows an error with a retry button instead, which is a different situation from an empty catalogue.
