Managing another person's myPandos account
How to be added to someone else's account, switch into it, what you can do there and how to get back to your own account.
Some people look after another person's or company's myPandos account: an accountant, an office manager, a colleague. The account owner can add you as a contact with permission to sign in to their account. This guide shows how to get in, what you can do and how to get back to your own account.
How to get access
- The account owner adds you as a contact and turns on login access. They choose what you may see and do.
- You receive an email invitation. Open the link and sign in with your own myPandos account.
- Choose Open the account on the confirmation page.
Switching between accounts
Once access is active you can switch at any time, from the Accounts you can manage card on your Overview, from your account menu (Switch to followed by the account name), from the switcher in the top bar, or from External Accounts. While you are working in another account a banner at the top says so. Choose Back to my account in your menu to return to your own account.
What you can see and do
- Only what the owner allowed: services of each type, invoices and payments, support tickets and the profile are controlled separately.
- Paying an invoice needs the payment permission, viewing it does not.
- If a section is missing, the owner has not given you access to it. Ask them to change your access.
- Contracts always stay with the account that signed them.
If you cannot find the account
Access appears only when the invitation has been accepted and the owner has login access switched on for you. If the owner removed your access, the account disappears from your list. If you are unsure, ask the owner or contact support.
